Job summary

Panda is hiring an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our Bromborough workshop. This hands-on role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing HGV vehicles to high standards in a well-equipped workshop.

You will work with modern diagnostic tools, brake tester, and an onsite parts department, enjoying a stable shift pattern and development opportunities. Full UK licence and own tools required; CE licence desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in an HGV workshop.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Own tools and a safety-focused approach.
• Experience with vehicle inspection, maintenance and repair.
• Desirable CE licence, not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out six-weekly inspections, MOT preparations and repairs.
• Performing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs.
• Accurately completing maintenance records and paperwork.
• Working effectively both independently and as part of the workshop team.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy workshop.
• Reporting faults and issues to supervision.
• Supporting safety, compliance and vehicle reliability.
