Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician/Mechanic/Fitter for a permanent role in Milton Keynes. The candidate will perform repairs per manufacturer procedures and assist in fault diagnosis while ensuring warranty compliance.

The successful applicant should hold City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, own tools, and a full UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2 desirable). Salary £65,000–£70,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV technician/mechanic with hands-on repair skills.
• Own tools required to perform repairs and servicing.
• City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training.
• Full UK driving licence; Class 1 or 2 licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures.
• Assist in fault diagnosis and testing after repairs.
• Comply with warranty procedures during repairs.
• Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller.
