Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician/Mechanic/Fitter in Bellshill to service and repair commercial vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer procedures and warranty guidelines. You will work to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and report defects to the workshop controller.

Ideal candidates will have City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, own tools, and a full UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2 desirable).

Qualifications

• Must have own tools.
• Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
• Hold a full UK driving licence; Class 1 or 2 licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures.
• Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
• Comply with warranty procedures during repairs.
• Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller.
