Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician/Mechanic/Fitter to join a well-established commercial vehicle dealership in Nottingham. The role offers a salary of £60,000–£70,000 per annum on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for repairs per manufacturer procedures, aiding fault diagnosis, and following warranty processes. Applicants should have City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics and hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must have own tools.
• Ideally apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Class 1 or 2 licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures.
• Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
• Comply with warranty procedures during repairs.
• Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller.
