Job summary

The Lanes Group is seeking an HGV Jetting Engineer for our Woolpit Depot to identify defects, operate high-pressure jetting, and clear blockages across drains and sewers.

You will work in a two-person team, perform CCTV assessments, maintain records, and follow safety policies. The role offers weekly pay, a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (days and nights), holiday entitlement, pension, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence.
• Competent with a laptop/tablet for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 2-person team operating high-spec jetting and vacuum units.
• Perform remote CCTV inspections to assess underground pipes and sewers.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting to clear blockages in drains and sewers.
• Liaise with customers and update records.
• Maintain electronic records and report maintenance checks.
• Follow safety and compliance policies.
• Carry out vehicle and jetting equipment checks and reporting.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Jetting Engineer to join our Woolpit Depot, this role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear.

As a HGV Jetting Engineer, you will:

• Working as part of a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units.
• Conduct remote CCTV investigations to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Adhering to the company safety and compliance policies.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks and maintenance reporting.

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

• HGV Class 2 licence.
• Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry.
