Job summary

The Lanes Group is seeking a skilled HGV Jetting Engineer for the Wellingborough Depot. You will join a small team to operate high‑specification jetting and vacuumation units, clear blockages, and inspect with CCTV to assess sewer conditions.

You will liaise with customers, update electronic records, and ensure safety compliance. Ideal candidates hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence and are proficient with laptops/tablets for data entry.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence held, essential for the role.
• Comfortable using laptop/tablet for data entry and records.
• Team-based working with jetting and vacuum units.

Responsibilities

• Operate jetting equipment to clear blockages in drains and sewers.
• Conduct remote CCTV investigations to assess underground pipes.
• Work as part of a two-person team on jetting and vacuumation units.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records.
• Follow safety policies and report equipment checks.
• Carry out vehicle and jetting equipment checks and reporting.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Jetting Engineer to join our Wellingborough Depot, this role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear.

As a HGV Jetting Engineer, you will:

• Working as part of a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units.
• Conduct remote CCTV investigations to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Adhering to the company safety and compliance policies.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks and maintenance reporting.

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

• HGV Class 2 licence.
• Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry.
