Job summary

Severn Trent is recruiting a Network Logistics Operative to help deliver essential pipeline projects across the Midlands. You will transport materials, plant and equipment to and from construction sites, driving HGV Grab lorries and supporting service laying tasks.

You'll work 42 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with a Friday finish. The role offers a strong pension, generous holiday, bonus potential and ongoing training within a values-driven, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence with Cat C (CE preferred) and HGV qualification or working towards this
• Experience driving HGVs, especially Grab lorries
• Utility/construction industry experience
• HIAB (Grab) qualification and NRSWA Operative
• Knowledge of digital tachograph and driving/working time regulations
• Good customer service and experience transporting plant, tools, and equipment

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting materials, plant and equipment to and from construction sites
• Drive logistics vehicles, predominantly HGV Grab lorries
• Remove waste and spoil, deliver usable materials
• Support construction activities including service laying
