Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Network Logistics Operative based in Leicester to transport materials and support construction work across the Midlands. You will drive HGV Grab lorries, move plant and equipment, and assist with service laying as part of a busy logistics team.

You should have a C/CE license with HGV experience, HIAB qualification, and customer-focused approach. A valid tachograph knowledge and NRSWA awareness are advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Class driving licence (C or CE) and an HGV qualification.
• Experience driving HGVs, especially Grab lorries.
• Utility/construction industry experience recommended.
• HIAB (Grab) qualification and NRSWA Operative beneficial.
• Good knowledge of tachograph and working time rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials, plant and equipment to construction sites.
• Drive logistics vehicles, predominantly HGV Grab lorries.
• Remove waste/spoil and deliver usable materials.
• Support construction activities including service laying.
