Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing temporary work with our Bamber Bridge-based client. The role involves trunking runs between depots across the region and multidrop deliveries with accurate documentation.

You will join a logistics setting offering flexible schedules, with shifts starting at 18:00/19:00 and weekly pay at £20.17 per hour, holiday pay included. CPC and Tachograph are required, and a valid Class 1 licence with up to 6 points is essential.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 1 year of HGV driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence and no DR, DD, DG, IN or TT endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking runs depot to depot across the region.
• Carrying out multidrop local deliveries and collections.
• Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.
• Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your work will include:
