Job summary

Connect Appointments is actively recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Drivers for ongoing temporary work in Carlisle. This role offers a structured Monday to Friday working week with consistent shifts and alternating routes.

Candidates are required to hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and have at least one year of driving experience. A competitive pay rate of £16.40 per hour, with shifts ranging from 10 to 15 hours, is provided.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on alternating shift routes.
• Follow a structured Monday to Friday working week.
• Complete shifts of 10 to 15 hours.

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Carlisle.

Our client operates a consistent trunking operation out of Carlisle, offering a structured Monday to Friday working week with a regular alternating route pattern – the same work week in, week out with no surprises.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, start times between 12:15pm and 7pm
• Shifts of 10 to 15 hours
• Alternating between 3 long and 2 short routes one week, and 2 long and 3 short routes the next
• £16.40 per hour – paid weekly
