Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Rugby. 4 and 5 day shift patterns on days, nights and tramping available.

You will perform vehicle inspections, manage logs and paperwork, and follow safety procedures to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.

Responsabilités

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork per policy and law.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Rugby.

4 and 5 day shift patterns on days, nights and tramping available

Rates of pay

• Weekday £15.15 per hour
• Weeknight £16.35 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday day £18.15 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday night £18.65 per hour
• Bank holidays £18.96 per hour
• Night out allowance - for trampers £25.00 per night out

Your Time at Work

As a Prebooked HGV Driver you will be responsible for:

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
