Job summary

Bullet Express is hiring 2 experienced Class 2 HGV drivers for night shifts (Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun). You will operate in a two-man team, assist with unloading/loading, and ensure timely deliveries with a strong focus on safety and paperwork accuracy.

• Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Experience with pallets, tail lift and pallet truck operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading 2-3 trailers nightly, including handball.
• Assist with loading your delivery vehicle.
• Open/close customer premises as part of a two-man team.
• Deliver and collect returns via tail lift and pallet truck.
• Complete and submit all shift paperwork.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Report non-conformities or near misses to your line manager.

Join Our Team as a Class 2 HGV Driver - Nightshift

Due to Contract Expansion Bullet Express is seeking 2 experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our dynamic team. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you! This position is 4 x nights per week Wed , Thurs, Sat and Sun and you will be working as a two man team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with unload of 2 -3 trailers nightly including handball
• Assisting with loading your delivery vehicle
• Securely opening and closing customer premises as part of a two man team
• Delivering and Collecting any returns required via Tail Lift & pallet truck
• Accurately complete and submit all work-related paperwork at the end of each shift.
• Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Report any non-conformities or near misses to your line manager promptly.
• Ensure timely deliveries and maintain the integrity of goods during transit and delivery.

Experience & Personal Qualities:

• Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Experience in power pallet truck.
• Experience in electronic delivery equipment.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Pride in maintaining and respecting the provided equipment.
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.

Licence/Certification:

• Digital Tacho Card (Required)
• Appropriate Driving License (Required)
• Driver CPC (Required)
• Comprehensive knowledge of driver regulations (Required)
