Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver for deliveries from Bury. The role involves multi-drop routes, handling a variety of goods and adhering to safety regulations while on busy city routes.

Applicants should hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card. 6 months driving experience is preferred, with a physically demanding role requiring a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work in a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores.
• Delivering a mix of ambient, chilled, and frozen goods.
• Manual handling required – moving cages on and off the vehicle.
• Regular driving in busy city centre environments.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards and road/vehicle regulations.

Pay Rate: £37,783.56 plus a multi-drop premium of £2,600 (split and paid monthly)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Working 5 on 3 off, starting between 4am and 7am

Location: Bury

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join our team delivering a variety of goods to stores. If you enjoy being on the road and don't mind a physically active role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Typical Day May Involve

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores
• Delivering a mix of ambient, chilled, and frozen goods
• Manual handling required – moving cages on and off the vehicle
• Regular driving in busy city centre environments
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience
• A positive attitude and willingness to work in a physically demanding role
