Job summary

Driver Hire Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our busy transport team. You will handle nationwide deliveries and collections, ensuring goods arrive safely, securely and on time.

Role includes safe loading/unloading, multi-drop runs across the UK, paperwork checks and keeping to delivery schedules while maintaining high health and safety standards and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence.
• Proven experience with multi-drop deliveries across the UK.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network and driving regulations.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
• Positive, flexible approach with good communication skills.

Class 2 HGV Driver - Multiple Positions Available

Pay: £14.85ph (£37,065.60pa) + Overtime + £30 overnight payment + Annual Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday - 48 hours (4am starts, average 2 nights out per week)

We are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a busy transport team. You'll be responsible for nationwide deliveries and collections, ensuring goods arrive safely, securely and on time.

Role Overview

• Safely load, secure and unload goods.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections across the UK.
• Check paperwork and ensure vehicle weight limits are not exceeded.
• Follow agreed delivery schedules and update on progress or delays.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and professional presentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent the business positively.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Class 2 HGV licence.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
• Good knowledge of UK road network and commercial driving regulations.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
• Positive, flexible approach with good communication skills.

Package & Benefits

Pay: £14.85ph (£37,065.60pa) + overtime (x1.3 after 48 hours).

Overnight allowance: £30 per night (2 nights per week on average).

Contract: Permanent, full-time, 48 hours per week (early starts).
