Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Limited seeks an HGV Driver for Plant and MEWP load/unload across customer sites in the UK. You will ensure timely collections and deliveries, maintain safety standards, and liaise with customers and internal teams to satisfy service levels.

Role requires CPC, tachograph card, and a Category C licence with up to 6 points. FORS familiarity and IT system use are desirable. Real living wage employer with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving licence category C - with no more than 6 points.
• CPC Certified
• Tachograph card
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
• Polite manner when visiting customer premises.
• Good geographical knowledge and industry experience (desirable).
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable).
• FORS compliant (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of goods.
• Ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness before journeys; safely load/unload loads.
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Comply with legal and company safety requirements and working time directives.

About The Role

Role will require you to pass a full clean DBS check and provide a 5 year reference history

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/ Unload to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
