Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Limited. is seeking a skilled HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/Unload in Swindon to ensure timely collections and deliveries to customer sites, while meeting customer expectations.

You will load and unload heavy equipment, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with driving regulations and company policies. Excellent progression opportunities offered by a real living wage employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum driving license category C with no more than 6 points.
• CPC Certified.
• Tachograph card.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
• Polite manner when visiting customer premises.
• Good geographical knowledge and industry experience (desirable).
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable).
• FORS compliant (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys and secure loading.
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to legal and company safety requirements and working time directives.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/ Unload to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
