Sunbelt Rentals Limited is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while meeting customer expectations. You will operate commercial vehicles, verify safety before journeys, and communicate with customers on site.

The role requires CPC and a Category C1 license, with a proactive safety approach and good geographical knowledge. Sunbelt offers a real living wage, development opportunities, and attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a category C1 license with no more than 6 points.
• CPC certification is required for professional driving.
• Tachograph card holder with up-to-date regulations knowledge.
• Proactive safety mindset for company vehicles and other drivers.
• Courteous conduct when visiting customer premises.
• Good geographical knowledge; industry experience is desirable.
• IT systems familiarity is desirable; FORS knowledge is advantageous.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods


• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load


• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers


• Installing plant attachment equipment on customer sites


• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
