Job summary

Driver Hire Preston is seeking five Class 1 HGV drivers to start ASAP for a client based in Weeton, near Blackpool. The role involves trunking to Ayr, Scotland, with 1 drop, Monday to Friday.

You must hold a C+E licence, current CPC and Digital Tachograph, have fewer than 9 points, and be reliable and punctual. Trunk runs from Weeton to Ayr and back, with strict tachograph compliance.

• Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects.
• Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours.

We are looking for 5 Class 1 HGV drivers to start asap for our client based in Weeton, near Blackpool.

These positions are commutable from Blackpool, Fleetwood, Garstang, Southport, Chorley, Leyland, Bamber Bridge and other areas nearby.

Job Description

The work is simple trunking, 1 drop in Ayr, Scotland and back, Mon-Fri, a lovely scenic drive.

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you must have:

• C+E driving Licence
• Current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Less than 9 points on your licence
• Be keen to look after your vehicle and be reliable and punctual
