Job summary

Driver Hire Preston is seeking 5 Class 1 HGV drivers to start asap for a client based in Weeton, near Blackpool. Trunking 1 drop to Ayr, Scotland, with no loading or unloading, Monday to Friday.

Applicants must have a CE licence, CPC and Tachograph cards, and less than 9 points. Pay £17.00–£22.00 per hour (PAYE), with weekend enhancements and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence required.
• Current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Less than 9 points on licence.
• Be reliable, punctual and look after the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Trunking from Weeton near Blackpool to Ayr in Scotland, 1 drop, no loading/unloading.
• Daily vehicle checks and reporting any damage or defects.
• Use of tachograph and drivers hours rules.

HGV Driver Class 1 – Full time
£17.00 to £22.00 per hour Days

We are looking for 5 Class 1 HGV drivers to start asap for our client based in Weeton, near Blackpool.

The work is simple trunking , 1 drop in Ayr, Scotland and back, Mon-Fri, a lovely scenic drive.

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you must have:

• C+E driving Licence
• Current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Less than 9 points on your licence
• Be keen to look after your vehicle and be reliable and punctual

HGV Class 1 Driver responsibilities include:

• Trunking from Weeton, near Blackpool to Ayr in Scotland, 1 drop, no loading or unloading.
• Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects.
• Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours

The successful HGV Drivers can expect:

• Monday–Friday: £17.00 PAYE Per Hour (HP advanced.)
• Weekend enhancements if you are available.
• Weekly Pay, paid on time every time.
• Subsidised ongoing CPC training.
