Job summary

Driver Hire Preston is seeking five Class 1 HGV drivers to start ASAP for a client based in Weeton, near Blackpool. The role involves trunking to Ayr, Scotland, with 1 drop, Monday to Friday.

You must hold a C+E licence, current CPC and Digital Tachograph, have fewer than 9 points, and be reliable and punctual. Trunk runs from Weeton to Ayr and back, with strict tachograph compliance.

Qualifications

• C+E driving Licence is required.
• Current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Less than 9 points on your licence.
• Be keen to look after your vehicle and be reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Trunking from Weeton, near Blackpool to Ayr in Scotland, 1 drop, no loading or unloading.
• Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects.
• Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours.
