Advanced Access Platforms in Grays is hiring a Class 1 & Class 2 HGV Driver to safely deliver and collect powered access equipment across London and the Home Counties. You’ll join a busy depot with full training and a clear path for career development.

The role requires good customer service and the ability to work independently, with a salary of £49,000–£52,000 per year and quarterly bonuses. A comprehensive induction and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Licence.
• Previous HGV driving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and collect powered access machines to and from customer sites.
• Demonstrate the safe operation and basic controls of equipment to customers (full training provided).
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication at all times.
• Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Accurately complete all relevant delivery and collection documentation.
• Operate primarily throughout London and the Home Counties, with routes varying daily.
• Ensure vehicles are driven safely and in accordance with all road transport legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Licence.
• Previous HGV driving experience (preferred).

• Strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
• Powered access industry experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• A flexible and reliable approach to work.
