Job summary

Platinum-Recruitment in Slough is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our expanding logistics team. You will deliver and collect powered access equipment across multiple depot locations, maintain vehicle checks and paperwork.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence is required.
• Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card is required.
• Experience with powered access equipment is essential.
• Experience as Class 2/HGV driver or similar transport role.
• Experience in Powered Access, Plant, Hire, Forklift, Crane or Agricultural sectors is advantageous.
• Safety-focused approach and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect powered access equipment, plant machinery, forklifts and other specialist equipment across multiple depot locations
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely, professionally and on time
• Load, secure and transport equipment in line with company procedures and legal requirements
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
• Follow all transport legislation and health & safety procedures

Key Responsibilities

As a Class 2 Driver, you will:

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

• Previous experience delivering, collecting or working with powered access equipment is essential
• Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver or in a similar transport role
• Experience within the Powered Access, Plant, Hire, Forklift, Crane or Agricultural sectors would be advantageous
• A professional, safety-focused approach with excellent customer service skills
• Flexibility to support multiple depot locations when required
