Job summary

Advanced Access Platforms in Grays, Essex, is seeking experienced HGV drivers (Class 1 & Class 2) for full-time, permanent roles. You will safely deliver and collect powered access equipment, demonstrate operation to customers, and provide excellent service on routes across London and the Home Counties.

We offer full training, a competitive salary (£49,000 - £52,000 per annum), quarterly bonuses, a company pension and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Licence.
• Driver CPC qualification (essential).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
• Powered access industry experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and collect powered access machines to and from customer sites.
• Demonstrate the safe operation and basic controls of equipment to customers (full training provided).
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication at all times.
• Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Accurately complete all relevant delivery and collection documentation.
• Operate primarily throughout London and the Home Counties, with routes varying daily.
• Ensure vehicles are driven safely and in accordance with all road transport legislation.
