Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to support our Essex operations in a permanent, full-time capacity. The role covers trunking between distribution centres, daily vehicle checks, and accurate documentation to keep our deliveries on time and compliant.

You must hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, plus a solid grasp of UK hours. A reliable, safety-minded approach and 12 months of Class 1 driving are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work.
• 12 months driving Class 1 vehicle experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled trunking runs between distribution centres and depots.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with road transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery and transport documentation.
• Adhere to driver hours, Working Time Directive, and company procedures at all times.
• Deliver a professional and courteous service while representing DHL Supply Chain.
