Job summary

Recruit4staff is recruiting a HGV Driver for a waste management company based in Wrexham. You will drive between sites and collect skips using hook-lift equipment, completing scheduled routes with accuracy.

The role offers pay at £15.72 per hour, 6:30am-3:00pm, with overtime paid at 1.5x and potential Saturday work on a 6:00am-12:00pm shift. Temporary to permanent after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• HGV licence required and valid in the UK.
• Experience with hook-loader or skip vehicles is essential.
• Ability to perform on-time collections and deliveries safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive between sites and collect skips using hook-lift equipment.
• Complete scheduled collections and deliveries per routes.
• Report delays or issues to operations as required.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• HGV Class 1 / CE1 licence required for this HGV Driver position
• Previous experience operating hook-loader or skip vehicles
• Ability to complete scheduled collections and deliveries safely and efficiently
• Good communication skills to report delays or issues while completing routes
