Job summary

Top Gear Recruitment Solutions in Walsall is seeking a HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 Driver for regular placements. Duties include multi-drop deliveries of chilled/frozen foods to butchers and wholesalers nationwide, with starts around 04:00 and Monday to Friday work patterns.

You will assist with loading and unloading using manual or electric pumps, hold a valid HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 licence with at least 6 months, CPC card and tachograph card, and have no major convictions.

Qualifications

• Licence held for at least 6 months with 3 months experience in that period.
• Valid driver CPC card and digital tachograph card.
• No major driving convictions on the licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out multidrop deliveries of chilled/frozen food nationwide.
• Start times around 04:00; usually Monday to Friday.
• Help load/unload the vehicle using manual or electric pump truck.

HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 Driver Requried

Our long standing client based in Walsall are seeking a HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 Driver to work for them on a regular basis

As a HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 Driver your duties will include the following:

• Start time of approximately 0400
• Usually working Monday to Friday
• Carrying out multidrop deliveries of chilled/frozen food to butchers/wholesalers nationwide
• You will be expected to help load /unload the vehicle where required using either a manual or electric pump truck

The ideal HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 Driver will have the following:

• A valid HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 driving licence of which must have been held for a minimum 6 months and have a minimum 3 months experience within this time
• Have a valid driver CPC card
• Have a valid digital tachigraph card
• Have no major driving convictions showing on your licence

The successful HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 Driver can expect the following:

• A highly desirable hourly rate of £16.81 per hour - PAYE - This is inclusive of holiday pay, we also have the option of accrued holiday pay
