Job summary

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work with one of our valued clients based in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for ongoing work, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver you will carry out multi-drop deliveries of refrigerated goods to customers on your route. Start times are typically between 03:00 and 06:00, and you will need to handle load securing and

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C / Class 2 Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / DQC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Confidence with strapping and securing loads.

Job description

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work with one of our valued clients based in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 driver looking for ongoing work, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop work to customers across your designated route. Start times tend to be between 0300 and 0600am.

This role involves delivering refrigerated goods therefore candidates must be comfortable carrying out some handball, load securing and multi-drop delivery with a refrigerated vehicle .

This is a customer-facing role, requiring a professional attitude and excellent communication skills when representing both Pure Staff and our client.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this HGV Class 2 Driver position you’ll need:

• A valid UK Category C / Class 2 Licence
• A valid Driver CPC / DQC
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Confidence with strapping and securing loads
• Good understanding of load security
• Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time regulations
• A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude

Pay Rates

• £17 per hour (with holiday pay accrued separately)
• £19.05 per hour with holiday pay rolled-up
