Job summary

Top Gear Recruitment Solutions is seeking a HGV1/LGV1/Class One/C+E driver for a position based near Aldridge, Walsall. The role covers curtain sider deliveries across local and national routes with early start times and potential nights out.

The ideal candidate holds a valid HGV licence (2+ years preferred), CPC and tachograph card, and will join a temp-to-perm arrangement with PAYE pay.

Qualifications

• HGV1/LGV1/Class One/C+E licence held for 2 years or more (flexible).
• CPC and digital tachograph card valid and indate.

Responsibilities

• Drive a curtain sided vehicle with start times between 04:00 and 06:00.
• Deliver general haulage to local and nationwide destinations.
• Possible up to 2 nights out per week; nights out paid at rate included.

HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver required

Our highly respected client based in Aldridge, Walsall are seeking a HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver on a potential temp to perm basis:

As a HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver your duties will include:

• Any start time between 0400 to 0600
• Driving a curtain sided vehicle
• Deliveries of general haulage to business both locally and nationwide
• Can involve upto 2 x nights out per week paid at £26.20 (untaxed)

The ideal HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver will have the following:

• Held your HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E driving licence ideally for 2 years but we can be flexible within reason
• Hold no major driving convictions on your licence
• Hold a valid and indate driver cpc and digital tachograph card

The successful HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver can expect the following:

• A highly competitive hourly rate of £20.17 per hour (This is rate includes holiday pay) - Paid on a PAYE basis
• A genuine temp to perm position subject to passing a trial period
• Weekly pay
• Local onsite presence
