Job summary

Veolia is recruiting a Class 2 HGV Driver/Loader in Northampton with a salary of £33,262.37 per year and a 45-hour week. You will drive, load waste materials, and ensure safe operation of vehicles and equipment.

Essentially you need a Class 2 HGV licence, CPC, and good time management with strong teamwork and communication. A range of benefits is offered to support your wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 HGV licence.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Teamwork and clear communication in a busy environment.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Desirable: knowledge of waste industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 HGV in accordance with Highway codes.
• Inspect vehicles, equipment, tools and machinery before use.
• Load waste materials safely and efficiently.
• Collect waste materials and ensure accurate weight and documentation.
• Work with the team to meet daily targets and quality standards.
