Job summary

Top Gear Recruitment Solutions is recruiting a HGV1/LGV1 Class 1 driver for an Aldridge, Walsall area role. Working hours start between 04:00 and 06:00 with local onsite presence and a potential path to permanent employment after a trial period.

You'll drive a curtain-sided vehicle, delivering general haulage to businesses locally and nationwide. This PAYE role offers weekly pay and a competitive hourly rate, with up to 2 nights out per week paid at £26.20 (untaxed) as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Held HGV1/LGV1 licence ideally for 2 years.
• No major driving convictions on licence.
• Valid and in-date CPC and digital tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Drive curtain-sided vehicle.
• Deliver general haulage to local and nationwide businesses.
• Start times typically between 04:00 and 06:00, with up to 2 nights out per week.

HGV1/LGV1 Class 1

Our highly respected client based in Aldridge, Walsall are seeking a HGV1/LGV1 Class 1 on a potential temp to perm basis:

As a HGV1/LGV1 Class 1 your duties will include:

• Any start time between 0400 to 0600
• Driving a curtain sided vehicle
• Deliveries of general haulage to business both locally and nationwide
• Can involve upto 2 x nights out per week paid at £26.20 (untaxed)

The ideal HGV1/LGV1 Class 1 will have the following:

• Held your HGV1/LGV1 Class 1 driving licence ideally for 2 years but we can be flexible within reason
• Hold no major driving convictions on your licence
• Hold a valid and indate driver cpc and digital tachograph card

The successful HGV1/LGV1 Class 1 can expect the following:

• A highly competitive hourly rate of £19.05 per hour (This is rate includes holiday pay) - Paid on a PAYE basis
• A genuine temp to perm position subject to passing a trial period
