Rapier is seeking an HGV 1 Driver for a role in Wellingborough. You will be transporting goods with multi-drop deliveries, performing daily vehicle checks and ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.

The position offers a £22.00 per hour PAYE rate with holiday pay and a clear temp-to-perm pathway. Regular overtime and full training are provided, aiming to develop long-term stability within a supportive transport management team.

The Role

As an HGV 1 Driver, you’ll be responsible for:

• Safely operating a HGV 1 or HGV 2 vehicle
• Completing multi-drop deliveries using cages
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing required paperwork and delivery documentation
• Providing professional customer service at delivery points
• Following all company, driver and compliance procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV 1 / Category C+E licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Reliable and professional approach
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and good customer service
• Previous multi-drop experience is advantageous but not essential
