Job summary

Veolia Group in the Brighton area is hiring a Class 2 HGV driver to join our busy waste logistics team. You will collect waste from household recycling centres and transfer it to our facilities, while ensuring timely deliveries for processing and compliance with traffic laws and load security.

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV licence and up-to-date CPC and Tachograph card.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and vehicle documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collect waste from household waste recycling centres and deposit it into Veolia facilities in the Brighton & Hove region.
• Collect waste from Veolia facilities and deliver for further processing.
• Perform daily vehicle checks (oil, water, tyres).
• Comply with traffic laws and ensure load security and documentation is accurate.
