Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a driver for a full-time, permanent role based at the Tingley site near Wakefield. The job involves multi-drop beer deliveries to pubs and clubs, manual handling of kegs, and navigating stairs if required.

You will be on a physically demanding schedule with early start times, supported by a comprehensive benefits package and a strong health and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Licence (Class 1 or 2) with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physically able to perform manual handling and multi-drop deliveries.
• 6+ months of recent driving experience preferred.

• Manual handling of beers, unloading kegs at customer sites.
• Deliver to pubs; navigate cellars and stairs where needed.

Pay Rate: £40,876 plus qualifying bonus £1700

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday starting between 4am-8am (annualised hours)

• Handling between 4 to 20 drops per day, keeping your day varied and active

• Driving safely and efficiently, always in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Following top-tier health & safety standards, with full compliance to The Highway Code and vehicle regulations
• Making multi-drop deliveries to pubs and clubs — bringing the good stuff to good people!

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence OR Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6+ months of recent driving experience
• Are ready to take on a highly physical role and enjoy being on the move
