Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Exeter is seeking a Class 1 Drayperson to support our distribution service, delivering goods safely and on time from EX1 3QN. The role involves trunking to RDCs, handling alcoholic goods, and complying with Drivers' Hours and the Highway Code.

Start times range 5am or 8am with shifts Monday to Friday plus 3 Saturdays per year. You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence (C), Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with no more than 6 points.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (C) and Driver CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card essential.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• 6 months experience as HGV driver preferred.
• Willing to work rotating days/nights.

Responsibilities

• Handle alcoholic goods safely.
• Trunking to other RDCs as required.
• Drive in accordance with Drivers' Hours rules.
• Comply with Highway Code and vehicle regulations.

Pay Rate: £41,161.12 + 4% Attendance Bonus Grade: P Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 3 Saturdays a year 5am or 8am Start times Location: Exeter, EX1 3QN We're now looking for a Class 1 Dray person to play a vital role in our distribution service and play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Handling alcoholic goods
• Trunking to other RDC
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card - Essential
• Experienced HGV Multi drop driver - 6 Months
• Experience in dray work- Desirable
• No more than 6 points on Driving licence - Essential
• Happy to work rotating shifts days and nights
