Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Wakefield region is recruiting for a driving role based at Tingley (WF3 1SP). A typical day includes multi-drop deliveries, handling 4–20 drops, unloading kegs, and navigating stairs to pubs and clubs.

The job is physically active and requires a valid HGV Class 1 or 2 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card. This permanent full-time role offers a pay rate of £40,876 plus a £1,700 qualifying bonus, with pension contributions and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence OR Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 6+ months of recent driving experience.
• Be prepared for a highly physical role and on-the-move operation.

Responsibilities

• Handle 4–20 drops per day, keeping a varied, active schedule.
• Manually unload keg deliveries and handle goods safely.
• Deliver to pubs and cellars, navigating stairs as required.
• Drive safely and adhere to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Follow health & safety standards and vehicle regulations.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
