Job summary

Panda Waste is hiring an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our Birmingham depot. You will collect and transport commercial waste using our modern fleet, maintaining high safety and customer service standards.

The role offers guaranteed hours, early starts around 04:00–05:00, weekly pay, and progression through ongoing training with PPE provided. A valid UK HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently drive and operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for commercial waste collection.
• Complete efficient collection routes and ensure customer sites are left tidy.
• Weigh bins and accurately record collection data using an on-board tablet system.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks, report defects promptly, and adhere to waste regulations and drivers' hours.
• Provide a professional and friendly service on-site to customers.
