Job summary

Solvit Recruitment are seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver with Skip/RORO experience to join an established food waste recycling operation. You will work a 4 on 4 off pattern, start at 06:00 with 12-hour shifts, and training is provided.

During initial training you will be paid £15.00 per hour, with on-shift rates at £17.89 per hour. Opportunities exist to upskill to Class 1 after a successful period.

Qualifications

• This role requires Skip/RORO experience and an HGV Class 2 licence with CPC and Tacho
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect skips and RoRo containers on a 4 on 4 off schedule
• Represent the company with customers during shifts
• Maintain safety, compliance and on-site professionalism

HGV Class 2 Rolo/Skip Driver

Are you looking for a full-time job with job security?

Solvit Recruitment are looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver who has experience with Skip / Roro, working with an established food waste recycling company who have a low staff turnover, due to more growth they now need another HGV Class 2 Driver.

For the right candidaite Interviews are being held, you will get a site visit and learn about the company and the role to see if it is right for you.

You will be collecting and delivering skips roll on roll off which will contain food waste which will be made into to Energy.

Previous experience with Skip /RORO is esential for this role, rehresher training is provided for the right candidate.

This role is 4 on 4 off, there will be 1 weeks refresher training on Skip/Roro.

After a successful period, you will have the opportunity to be up skilled to HGV Class 1.

A team player with great customer service is necessary, as you will be representing the company while you are working.

When on your 4 on 4 off you will be on 12-hour shifts, start time 06:00.

Whilst in initial training you will be paid £15.00 per hour, then on shift you will be on £17.89 per hour.

Requirements

• Skip, Rolo experience.
• HGV Class 2 licence minimum 1 years' experience.
• Excellent communication skills or and written.
• In date CPC and Tacho
• No more than 6 points.
• No DR, DD, IN or TT codes.
• No bans in the last 5 years.
