Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Rochford to work with our client, who provide essential waste management services. You will operate a Class 2 skip (hookloader) vehicle (RoRo) with 6 months experience. The role runs Monday to Friday with 06:30 start times; optional Saturday overtime.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect skips from commercial and residential sites.
• Work safely around pedestrians, traffic and other road users.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving and operating a Class 2skip (hookloader/RoRo) vehicle
• Delivering and collecting skips from commercial and residential sites
• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users
• Complete daily checks and report any defects

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence with 6 months previous experience and you must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and be able to work independently when required. You must be reliable, punctual and safety conscious.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
