Job summary

Smart Solutions (Recruitment) Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver for our Welham Green site. This long-term temporary role offers a path to permanent employment for the right candidate.

You will safely deliver and collect skips, dispose of waste properly, and maintain excellent customer service throughout. Hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm, with overtime paid at 1.5x the standard rate (£25.50/hr if base £17.00/hr).

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 license is required.
• Skip driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and compliance with safety procedures.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, collect, and transport skips to and from customer sites.
• Safely dispose of waste in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
• Provide professional customer service during collections and deliveries.
