Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 RORO Skip Driver on behalf of our well-known recycling client based in Knowsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company that offers a great working environment, job security, and a supportive team.

Permanent position, Monday to Friday with 07:00 starts, paying £15.83 per hour, minimum 8 hours paid per shift, and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• RORO experience essential.
• Good knowledge of the Merseyside area.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 RORO (Roll-On Roll-Off) skip vehicle.
• Collect recycled metal from commercial and industrial customers across the Merseyside area.
• Transport materials safely to designated recycling plants.
• Complete vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company.
