Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking an HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join client teams in Cardiff. You will operate an HGV Skip lorry, perform on-site collections and deliveries, and follow safety procedures to deliver excellent service.

The role offers 0600 starts, up to 10-hour days, ongoing full-time work in Cardiff with weekly pay and an induction program. Newly qualified drivers are welcome and CPC & Digi Tacho cards are required.

Qualifications

• Holding a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC and Digi Tacho cards are required.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome; skip/RoRo experience is advantageous.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating an HGV2 Skip/RoRo lorry in line with safety standards.
• Carrying out site collections and deliveries around Cardiff and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring vehicle checks are completed daily.
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

The role:

As an HGV Class 2 Skip Driver, you'll be responsible for operating an HGV Skip lorry to carry out collections and deliveries, ensuring safe loading/unloading, and providing an excellent service on site.

Your key responsibilities will be:-

• Driving and operating an HGV2 Skip/RoRo lorry in line with safety standards
• Carrying out site collections and deliveries around Cardiff and surrounding areas
• Ensuring vehicle checks are completed daily
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

About you:

As an HGV Class 2 Skip Driver you will have the following skills and experience:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Newly qualified welcome
• Previous skip/roro experience advantageous
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
• Strong focus on safety and customer service
