Smart Solutions is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Sheffield team, operating skip and RoRo vehicles across the local area. This is a hands-on role for a professional driver who takes pride in safety, reliability and customer service.

You will drive Monday to Friday with a 06:00am start, perform daily vehicle checks, and contribute to maintaining high vehicle standards while supporting the transport and depot team at the Widnes site.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Proven HGV driving experience.
• Experience within the waste management sector is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations and driver compliance.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Flexible Monday–Friday with 06:00 start.

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards and road laws.

• Provide a professional, customer-focused service on site.
• Support the wider transport and depot team at the Widnes site.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-presented vehicle.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Skip & RoRo

Location: Sheffield

Pay: £16.50 per hour

Overtime: £24.75 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, with start times at 06:00am

About the Role

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
