People Solutions are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a growing waste and recycling operation in South Cerney and the surrounding areas. The role includes driving refuse vehicles on assigned routes, performing safety checks, and working as part of a team.

You should have a valid UK Category C licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and a clean licence with few penalty points. The position offers stable ongoing work, full training, weekly pay, and immediate starts.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C Licence required.
• CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.
• Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of road safety and compliance.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out full daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
• Driving the refuse vehicle safely along assigned collection routes.
• Operating bin-lifting equipment to empty waste and recycling containers.
• Working safely as part of a collection crew and following loading signals.
• Ensuring all waste is collected efficiently and routes are completed.
• Following strict health and safety procedures at all times, especially in public areas.
• Recording and reporting issues such as missed bins, contamination, or access problems.

HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver - South Cerney

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a growing waste and recycling operation in South Cerney and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression within refuse and recycling services.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Refuse Truck Driver.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:30 start times

Rates of Pay:

£16.00 to £18.00 per hour

Desirable Experience:

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Previous experience driving HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver vehicles in waste management or a similar environment
• Experience working in outdoor or physically demanding roles

Training:

• Full industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
