Job summary

Pro1 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 2 Refuse Driver to join a client based in Atherstone. You will operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle and support the local waste team.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 06:00–15:00, 37 hours per week, with guaranteed overtime. A valid Category C (Class 2) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's experience driving a Class 2 vehicle.
• Minimum age 25 years for insurance purposes.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Able to drive in busy urban, residential and restricted-access areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Work with crews to provide an efficient waste collection service.
• Follow all road traffic regulations and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional attitude with colleagues and the public.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team for a client based in Atherstone .

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 15:00
• 37 hours per week at £14.82 per hour
• 4.5 overtime hours per week paid at £22.33 per hour

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year's experience driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Minimum age of 25 years (for insurance purposes).
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
• A valid Category C (Class 2) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Capable of driving in busy urban, residential and restricted-access areas safely and confidently.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team.

Duties

• Operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks.
• Working alongside refuse collection crews to provide an efficient waste collection service.
• Following all road traffic regulations and health and safety procedures.
• Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with colleagues and members of the public.
