Smart Solutions are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join a busy waste management operation in Milton Keynes.

You will drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle, collecting waste from residential and commercial properties across the local area, working with loaders and following allocated daily routes.

Role offers Monday-Friday, weekly pay, immediate start, and temp-to-perm progression in a busy operation in Milton Keynes.

Qualifications

• Must hold Full UK HGV Class 2 licence with CPC and Tachograph
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 licence experience
• 90 days of recent Class 2 driving experience within the last 6 months

Class 2 Driver – Waste Collection

£16.00 per hour | Milton Keynes MK6 | Monday-Friday | Temp to Perm

Smart Solutions are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join a busy waste management operation in Milton Keynes.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for stable Monday-Friday work, weekly pay and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

The Role

You will drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle, working alongside loaders to collect waste from residential and commercial properties across the local area.

Duties include:

• Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse vehicle
• Collecting and emptying bins
• Working alongside loaders
• Manually moving wheelie bins when required
• Following allocated daily routes
• Carrying out vehicle checks
• Working safely around pedestrians, vehicles and members of the public
• Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 licence experience
• 90 days of recent Class 2 driving experience within the last 6 months
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous waste/refuse or trade waste experience
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable with early starts and outdoor work
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay & Hours

£16.00 per hour

Monday-Friday

Choose from:

• 4:00am – 1:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)
• 5:00am – 2:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)

Weekly pay every Friday

Immediate start available
