Job summary

QS Recruitment is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a UK-based role. The position is open to UK applicants only, with Monday to Friday work and start times at 06:00, typically finishing around 14:00.

You will handle residential, commercial, and recycling waste collections, working with up to three loaders to meet set timeframes. The role offers progression to a permanent position and a temporary contract with an hourly rate of £16.62.

Job Description

Progression to permanent position available, alongside no weekend working and early finishes.

As an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver your duties will include:

• Residential waste collections
• Commercial waste collections
• Recycling waste collections

You will be working with a team of up to three loaders, ensuring that collections are made with the set timeframes.

Good communication with both your team and the general public is paramount.

Due to the nature of the work, you will be expected to assist with the loading if necessary, therefore you must be flexible in your approach to the role.

Duration: This is an ongoing opportunity offering full time hours and a potential permanent job.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this role is £16.62 per hour. In addition to this you will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.We do not offer visa sponsorship

Working Hours: Your working days will be Monday to Friday. Start time will be 06:00, finishing when the round has been successfully completed, typically this is around 14:00.
