Driver Hire Gloucester advertises an HGV/Class 2 Mixer Driver role in the UK. Working locally, you’ll be the face of our business, liaising daily with Distribution to ensure on-time delivery and friendly service, and you’ll be home every evening with Monday–Friday hours from 7:00 to 16:30.

The pay rate is £17.50 per hour (including holiday pay), with time-and-a-half on Saturdays as required. Benefits include a company pension, life assurance, training opportunities and access to staff discounts.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2/Class C licence required.
• Good communication skills.
• Mixer experience.
• MP Skills Card preferred.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with Distribution daily to ensure safe and efficient deliveries.
• Operate locally and represent the company in a professional manner.
• Deliver to customers and build relationships with a local knowledge base.
• Work Monday to Friday with potential Saturday rota.

Key Responsibilities

Working for the largest independent construction materials business in the UK and Ireland, within our Transport and Logistics division you'll never be treated like just a number. You'll liaise with your colleague in Distribution every day and because we work locally, you'll be speaking to the same person and be able to use your local knowledge to get the order delivered safely and efficiently!

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Do you have ?

• A HGV Class 2/Class C licence
• Good communication skills
• Mixer experience
• MP Skills Card (preferable)

You’ll be working locally and be the face of our business. You’ll be working Monday to Friday with core working hours of 7.00 to 16.30, although occasionally we may need you to finish a bit later and you will be Rota-d to cover occasional Saturday morning's.
