Job summary

Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting a Class 2 HGV Mixer Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm role based in Lincoln. You will deliver construction materials to local sites and support the distribution team to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.

The role requires a HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card, good communication and customer service skills, and a willingness to work a 06:00 start with occasional Saturdays. Permanent salary £34,954 and pension are on offer.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) valid.
• Driver CPC qualification and valid tachograph card.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Mixer or Class 2 driving experience is beneficial but not required.
• Hi-vis clothing and safety boots required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver construction materials to local customer sites.
• Work closely with the distribution team to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Use your local knowledge to plan and complete delivery routes effectively.

Job description

Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting a Class 2 HGV Mixer Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with our client based in Lincoln.

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Occasional Saturdays on a rota basis
• 06:00 starts
• Approximate 16:30 finishes (later finishes may be required)
• Local deliveries only
• Based in Lincoln

The Role

• Use your local knowledge to plan and complete delivery routes effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Previous mixer or Class 2 experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Hi-vis clothing and safety boots are required.

Pay & Benefits (First 13 Weeks)

• £15.00 per hour for the first 8 hours of each shift.
• £22.50 per hour for any hours worked over 8 per shift.
• Weekly PAYE pay every Friday.

Permanent Benefits (After 13-Week Temp-to-Perm Period)

• Annual salary of £34,954.
