Job summary

Breedon Group is seeking a Driver for our Hardcrete division, based in Watford/Kings Langley area. The role is full-time, permanent, 45 hours per week, reporting to the Transport Manager. You will deliver locally, liaising with Distribution and providing excellent customer service.

You’ll typically work Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional later finishes and occasional Saturday mornings as rosters require. A class 2 licence is essential and local knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2/Class C licence required.
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing deliveries.
• Experience working in a transport/logistics environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Distribution daily to ensure safe and efficient delivery of orders.
• Represent Breedon Hardcrete to customers and maintain high service standards.
• Fulfil Monday–Friday core hours with occasional late finishes and Saturday mornings as rosters require.

Job summary

We are currently looking for a Driver to support our Hardcrete business, based in Watford, Hertfordshire.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis of 45 hours per week, and will report directly to the Transport Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Working for the largest independent construction materials business in the UK and Ireland, within our recently acquired Hardcrete division you’ll never be treated like just a number. You’ll liaise with your colleagues in Distribution every day and because we work locally, you’ll be speaking to the same people and be able to use your local knowledge to get the order delivered safely and efficiently! At Breedon Hardcrete, we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service; in making a material difference to our customers. Our customers love the fact that our drivers understand the product they are delivering and will lend a hand if needed. You’ll be an ideal fit for this position if you enjoy building relationships and have a great sense of humour.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• A HGV Class 2/Class C licence
• Good communication skills

As a Driver in our Hardcrete division, you’ll be working locally and be the face of our business. You’ll be working Monday to Friday with core working hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm, although occasionally we may need you to finish a bit later and you will be rota’d to cover occasional Saturday morning’s.
