Job summary

Smart Solutions are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client, who specialises in Waste Management and transforming waste into valuable resources. The role involves driving a Class 2 dustcart, collecting refuse, and ensuring all bins are serviced each day.

A minimum of 6 months HGV Class 2 driving experience is essential; CPCS Card and valid Class 2 licence are required. This is a full-time position with potential temp-to-perm prospects and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in HGV Class 2 driving.
• Full-time position with permanent prospects.
• Driving Licence HGV Class 2 required; CPCS Card required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 dustcart, refuse lorry, or bin lorry.
• Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week.
• Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins.
• Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins.
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely.
